The app is an essential tool for working with us. You’ll use it to set your availability, track job details, review your pay history, and contact your team.
You’ll receive payment to your standard bank account. Unfortunately, Chime, Cash App, and Venmo are not compatible with our direct-deposit payment process. There is no cap to how much money you can make (with tips and bonuses).
You can remove yourself from a job up to 24 hours prior to the start of the service. Failure to notify us or follow through on a job commitment, however, will result in deactivation.
Yes. Once you’re officially a pro, there’s a claims board. On this board, you’ll find jobs booked at the last minute (within 24 hours) or jobs that still need to be filled. Perfect for a day where you may not have selected yourself as available out of uncertainty, but now realize you’re free!
We typically try to keep our markets manageable drive time-wise, meaning an hour or less for most jobs. However, that is not promised, and you will have to drive to unique locations/areas for each job, so if driving is not for you (or you do not have reliable transportation), this may not be a great fit. We do pay for mileage
You earn $.25/mile after the first 30 miles, from your home to location A, and location B to home. If the drive between homes on the job is far, it’s ok–you’re on the clock and being compensated for that time. Please note, some markets may pay different rates based on traffic, gas and other travel costs.
The captain position is reserved for our tenured pros that are natural-born leaders. Once officially a pro, your quality specialist will be happy to walk through questions with you and give you a market-specific perspective for a more thorough answer.
Yes! Movers with DNA Movers are able to make up to $20 an hour! Additionally, working during special “peak” hours of the week helps to earn bonus pay. Not to mention, the tips are yours to keep!
DNA Movers hours are as flexible as you’d like them to be! You can select whether you’d like to work mornings, afternoons, or both. If something comes up and you have a move scheduled, you are free to remove yourself from the job 72 hours in advance.
